1950's White Gold and Diamond Wedding Set
This vintage 1950's, 14K white gold and diamond wedding set has been together since they day they were made and we didn't have the heart to break up the set. The main ring has a 1/3rd carat (33 point) center brilliant cut diamond, nestled into an illusion setting that was very popular in the 1940's to early 1950's. Illusion settings make the diamond look bigger than it is, due to light reflecting off the white gold rosette that surrounds the diamond. The shoulders of the main ring feature two, .03 carat, single cut diamonds set into the center of rosettes. The main diamond is eye clean and gooks great under a 10x loupe. There is one dark inclusion located right next to a prong. The inclusion was noticed under a loupe and can not be seen with the naked eye. The wedding band features four rosettes, each with another .03 carat single cut diamond set into the middle of each rosette. The band is an exact match for the ring.
