Antique Silver Topped Yellow Gold, Sapphire, and Diamond Ring
A turn of the century, Silver topped, 18K Yellow Gold Ring, with a Sapphire and 4 chunky cut Diamonds. The top of the ring features delicate scroll work, that is mirrored on the highly detailed band. The sapphire has a nice, medium blue color and some inclusions that are visible under a 10X loupe, but not visible to the naked eye. The sapphire is estimated at 0.12 carat (just over 1/10th). The diamonds are 0.02 - 0.03 carat each, for a total estimated diamond weight of 0.08 - 0.12 (around 1/10 carat). This antique ring has styling that would go great with a pair of dress jeans.
Ring Size: US 7, British N 1/2, French 55. This ring can be resized.
Stamped: 500, 900, and an illegible mark Acid Test: 18K Gold. Silver is likely 77-90% silver, (but we did not want to acid test the silver for fear of marring the ring).
