Early 1900's, Antique Engagement Ring - Natural Sapphire in 14K Yellow Gold
A 14K Yellow Gold, Edwardian Antique Ring in an Old Belcher setting, with a Natural Blue Sapphire. The Natural Blue Sapphire has a rich, dark blue color and is estimated at 0.29 carat, (just over a quarter carat). Measurements on the sapphire are roughly 4.5 mm by 1.9 mm depth. The sapphire has no inclusions that are visible to the naked eye. This antique ring is engraved with the initials, "A.C.T to A.M.T". Sapphire rings were often given for engagement rings, in Victorian and Edwardian times.
