Old European Cut Diamond VS2 Engagement Ring in 14K Yellow Gold
A solitaire Old European Cut Diamond Ring in a tall, 6 prong 14K Yellow Gold setting. This lovely diamond is estimated at 0.35 carat (between a quarter and a half carat). The clarity is estimated at VS2 and the sparkle is quite nice. There is a small cleave on the outside edge of the diamond. This is not something you can see with your naked eye. One thing we love about older rings is the clarity of the diamonds. If you want a nice diamond, for a very reasonable price, older diamonds are the best.
For your enjoyment, all purchases ship gift wrapped with a blank gift card. See something you like, but need time to pay, we offer layaway with no fees and no interest.

Estimated Date: Solitaire rings can be difficult to date, since the setting does not offer any style date clues. 14K as a stamp was formally adopted in 1932, but it's use is thought to have been started around 1906. Old European Cut Diamonds were mostly replaced with the Modern Brilliant Cut Diamond by the 1960's. This ring is likely between 1910-1940's.
