A Scottish Thistle Stickpin, with incredible detailing, made from 9 Karat Gold and an Amethyst.  Scottish jewelry was popular from the mid 1850's through the Edwardian period (early 1900's).  We believe this particular stickpin is from the Edwardian period.  This stickpin comes with the original box marked, A.K.Watters, 50 Leith Street, Edinburgh.  The amythst does have a few small inclusions, visible by the eye, when viewed up close.  The stickpin is straight and sharp.
