Victorian Old Mine Cut in Rose Gold Ring
A warm, Victorian, 12K rose gold ring with a larger 1/3rd carat sparkling diamond. This ring has a clean geometric line on the shoulders, mirrored nicely on the four prongs. The Old Mine Cut diamond has a high table, is eye clean, sparkles beautifully, and looks nice under a 10X loupe as well. The diamond does have a bit of a yellow cast to it, but is not overpowering or unpleasant in any way. A yellow cast on Victorian Old Mine Cut diamonds was not uncommon, as they were often sourced from Russia. Later Victorian diamonds sourced from Africa generally did not have a yellow cast. This ring would look excellent on a man or a woman.
