Vintage Ring: 1940s Ribbons and Diamonds in 18K White Gold
A large, fun Vintage Ring in the shape of a spray of 18K White Gold Ribbons, Single Cut Diamonds, and an Old European Cut Diamond, dating from around the 1940's. The ribbons have tiny crossing lines that add dimension and visual interest. The main diamond is a .25 (quarter) carat, estimated at F-G color and VVS2-VS1 clarity. The four .04 carat single cut diamonds that frame the main Old European cut diamond in a sweeping arch, are of comparable color. One of the four side diamonds is closer to a SI1 clarity (white inclusion) and 1 of the side diamonds has a small chip only visible through a 10X loupe. We did not see any black inclusions. This is a larger statement vintage ring, with plenty of flash.
